Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Bateman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Dux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Patrick Bateman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Frank Dux! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bateman fails with a takedown attempt. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bateman is defended easily by Dux. Dux shoots in and bounces Bateman off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Dux throws and elbow that misses. Bateman uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Dux's guard. Nice move by Bateman!
That's one minute gone in the round. Dux looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bateman is one step ahead there. Bateman throws a big right hand that misses. Bateman looking to pass the guard. Dux had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bateman defends it easily. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Dux holds on and takes a little breather. Dux has his foot on Bateman's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bateman works his way back into a safe position though. Bateman looking to pass the guard. Dux looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bateman is one step ahead there. Dux is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bateman defends well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Bateman tries to free his leg and advance position but Dux is retaining full guard. Bateman is working hard here to advance position. Dux avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Dux trying to control the position.
Bateman drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bateman jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Dux is looking for a guillotine. That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Dux is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Bateman is aware though and is defending well. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Dux looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bateman is one step ahead there. Bateman slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Bateman trying to control the action but Dux is working from the bottom. Dux throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Bateman avoids a punch combination nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Frank Dux dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Dux has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bateman can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Dux tries to land a sweep but no joy. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Dux is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Bateman trying to control but Dux is working from the bottom. Bateman looking to pass the guard. Bateman drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Dux manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Bateman has Dux in his guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dux accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Dux's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Bateman working for a triangle but Dux defends it easily.

Dux lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Dux slips a nice elbow through Bateman's hands, connecting with Bateman's forehead. Dux is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Frank Dux showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Dux shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Bateman is trying to defend but Dux finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Bateman looking for submissions off his back. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bateman is looking for a sweep. Dux is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Bateman actively working from the bottom here. Dux is nestled in close to Bateman, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dux lands with a punch from half guard. Dux winds up and cracks Bateman with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Bateman looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Dux is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Dux looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bateman with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Bateman tries to get to full guard but Dux has control of the leg. Dux wants to take a breather but Bateman is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dux looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Bateman wants to get back to full guard. Dux trying to control from half guard but Bateman is working away. Bateman makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Bateman. Bateman escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dux gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Dux is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dux avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Dux stands up over Bateman, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Bateman throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Dux landing some decent shots from guard. Dux landing with the ground and pound. Dux must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Bateman throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Bateman working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dux doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dux manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Frank Dux is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Dux trying to control but Bateman is working from the bottom. Dux won't allow Bateman to sweep him here. Bateman is looking for a triangle here but Dux uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Dux creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Check out the look on Dux's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Bateman is trying to improve his position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. You can see the frustration on Bateman's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Dux in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
And that's the end of the fight! Frank Dux comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Dux has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
