Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fedor Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ross Bowron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Emelianenko has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Fedor Emelianenko! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ross Bowron! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Atkins and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bowron misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Emelianenko is breathing heavily. Bowron tries to bum rush Emelianenko with a series of wild strikes but Emelianenko uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Bowron misses with an uppercut. Emelianenko saw that one coming. Bowron drives through and clinches with Emelianenko against the cage.
Bowron goes for a takedown in the clinch but Emelianenko prevents it.
Bowron has Emelianenko pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Bowron pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Emelianenko tumbling to the mat - Bowron dives into Emelianenko's guard. Emelianenko could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Bowron is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Emelianenko on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Emelianenko tries to get out of the position. Bowron chips away with some ground and pound. Bowron lands a couple of elbows.
That's one minute gone in the round. Emelianenko keeping full guard, as Bowron tries to pass. Emelianenko knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bowron on the ground. Bowron landing with the ground and pound. Emelianenko trying to keep a closed guard but Bowron is proving a slippery customer.
Bowron not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Bowron's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Bowron is in close to Emelianenko's body, working some short punches and elbows.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bowron postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Bowron postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Bowron pushing down on Emelianenko's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Bowron passes to side control. Emelianenko is not content to let Bowron control the position. Bowron cracks Emelianenko with an elbow. That is naaassty. Bowron has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Emelianenko is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Bowron yanks on the arm and Emelianenko is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Bowron.
