Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zanje Delamosai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Borris Khalidov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Zanje Delamosai!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Borris Khalidov!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Konstantin Menshow and Aleksandr Martynov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Delamosai shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Khalidov as he avoids it easily.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Delamosai is defended easily by Khalidov.
Delamosai misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zanje Delamosai. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Khalidov stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Khalidov wants it to stay on the feet.
Delamosai tries to score a power double leg takedown but Khalidov sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Delamosai somewhat.
Delamosai shoots in looking for a takedown. Khalidov tries to sprawl out of it but Delamosai keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Khalidov manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Delamosai enables Khalidov to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Delamosai manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Khalidov is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

I looks like Khalidov might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Khalidov looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Delamosai with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Khalidov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Delamosai. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Khalidov goes for an armbar but Delamosai turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Delamosai.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Khalidov can do anything to dispel that myth.

Borris Khalidov showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Delamosai darts in trying to clinch
