Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dekkers The (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derek Demar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Derek Demar! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Felipe Paraventi and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice takedown defense from Demar. No joy for The on that attempt. Dekkers The seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The shoots in looking for a takedown. Demar tries to sprawl out of it but The keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Demar manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. The rushes Demar and presses him up against the cage. Demar breaks from the clinch.

The is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Demar doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time The. He's got his arms around Demar's waist but Demar gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing The off to one side. No joy there for Demar, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

The chips away with some ground and pound. The tries to free his leg and advance position but Demar is retaining full guard. The trying to control but Demar is working from the bottom. The not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The drops an elbow to the side of Demar's head. Well, if The is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum.
