Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Devil terror (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chip Chip Are (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Devil terror! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Chip Chip Are! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Matheus Silva and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! terror shoots for a double leg takedown but Are sprawls well. He's pushed terror's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Are clinches. Are missing with knees to the body.
Are tries to pull guard but terror holds him up against the cage and eventually Are drops back down to his feet.
terror is trying to break the clinch but Are has him pressed against the cage. terror jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Are walks away with a smile on his face. terror gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. The fight stays on the outside here - terror looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Are wants to clinch. terror tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Are paws at him with a jab and circles away. Are misses with a takedown attempt - terror sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Sloppy strikes from Are. Those never looked like landing. Are decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. terror is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Are pulls his head out easily. terror is looking for a sweep. Are is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Are wants to stand up but terror is controlling the position.
Still in half guard, Are seems content to control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Are throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Are throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. terror is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Are pulls his head out easily. Are gets to his feet - back to striking we go! terror stuffs the takedown. Devil terror has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chip Chip Are. terror blocks a leg kick. terror will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Are wants to clinch up but terror keeps it at a distance. terror throws a series of strikes that have Are backpedaling.
A leg kick checked by terror. Are throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around terror's waist but terror gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Are off to one side. Are throws a wild body kick that terror sees coming a mile off. terror tries to close the distance and clinch but Are swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. terror wants to clinch but Are slips to the side and Are counters with a stiff right hand. Are steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from terror. That one must have hurt. Good standup being displayed there by terror as he connects with a hook. terror misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. terror tries for a takedown but Are circles away easily and Are counters with a series of strikes. terror will be more careful next time no doubt. A nice leg kick lands there from Are. terror is breathing heavily. terror lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Are is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Are forces terror back against the cage and clinches. Are pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Are throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. terror tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Are is in terror's guard. Are is looking to stand up but terror won't let him. Are working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Are throwing strikes from guard but terror blocks nicely. Are is looking to work some ground and pound but terror has wrist control. terror looking to control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. terror keeping full guard, as Are tries to pass. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Are distracts terror with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
That's three minutes gone in the round. terror looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
terror working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Are. Are is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Are is looking to stand up but terror won't let him. terror throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. terror manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Are can't escape the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Are is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Are wants to try and get back to his feet. Are working to try and regain half guard.
terror lands a heavy elbow. terror wants to control the pace but Are is squirming around nicely. terror is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Are to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Are shrugs it off. Are is trying desperately to improve position. terror goes for an armbar but Are turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Are. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chip Chip Are dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Are lands with a good body shot. Are lands a nice looking body kick. Are tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but terror paws at him with a jab and circles away. Are throws a head kick but terror moves out of range.
Are darts in and clinches terror up against the cage. terror wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Are has him pressed against the cage. terror has had enough of the clinch but Are keeps him there for the moment. Are jumps guard but terror stands there with Are around his waist. Are gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Are drags the fight down to the ground.
terror won't allow Are to get back to his feet. terror trying to control the position from guard on top but Are is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Are looking for a sweep. Not yet Are, not yet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. terror trying to control the position from guard on top but Are is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. terror tries to stand but Are is controlling from the bottom.

Devil terror has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Are gets a clinch. terror is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Are's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. terror blocks a head kick by Are.
Are takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. terror tries to close the distance and clinch but Are swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Are throws a lazy body kick and terror counters with a nice low kick that buckles Are's knee momentarily. terror tries to clinch up. terror keeps the fight on the outside. terror shoots for a double leg takedown but Are sprawls well. He's pushed terror's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Are forces terror back against the cage and clinches. Are manages to break the clinch.

Are feints and as terror raises his hands in defense, Are changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. terror throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Are wants to control from the top but terror keeps moving. terror looking to hit a scissor sweep but Are is one step ahead there. terror trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. terror is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Are drops back looking for a leg! terror is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and terror manages to kick Are off! Are jumps back into terror's guard. terror manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Are really doesn't want to stay on the ground with terror. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. terror fails to take his opponent's back. terror is looking to stand but terror has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Are tries to get back to half guard but can't. Are is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Are is trying to reverse the position but instead terror has taken his back - oops! terror tries to keep control of the position but Are is staying busy. Are wants to escape the position.
Are staying busy and making it hard for terror to control. Are rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chip Chip Are showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Are takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Are wants to clinch. Are shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. terror is trying to get back to full guard. terror blocking the ground and pound attempt from Are. terror works his way to full guard. Good work. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Are drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but terror manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Are has terror in his guard. terror thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Are is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. terror is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Are scores with a couple of nice shots. terror is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Are looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks terror with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Are lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Are seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but terror does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Are decides to return to a standing position. terror swats away the attempt to clinch by Are.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Are rushes terror and presses him up against the cage. Are blocks the elbow strike.
terror tries to break the clinch but Are is controlling the position. Are stalling in the clinch but terror improves position. terror is trying to drag Are to the mat but Are just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Are breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Are drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Are gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Are moves into range and clinches up with terror. Are breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Devil terror is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. terror darts in trying to clinch and Are counters with a nice double leg into side control. terror won't be happy with that. This has been an exciting period of action! terror struggling a bit here. terror gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
That's three minutes gone in the round. terror can't escape the position.
Are landing punches. Are prevents terror from getting the reversal. Are controlling the position easily from mount. Are trying to control but he's not successful this time. Devil terror has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Are working the ground and pound effectively.
Are landing strikes, looking to finish! Chip Chip Are is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Are wants to control the pace but terror is squirming around nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. terror wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

Are takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. terror is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Are controlling the position easily from mount. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
And that's the end of the fight! Chip Chip Are comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Are has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
