Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Freddie Figgjo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Bohlin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Figgjo's entrance music is Edward Grieg. A fine choice. Bohlin is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Kanashimi wo Yasashisa Ni by Little by Little. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 13 - 1, fighting out of London, Freddie Figgjo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Tony Bohlin! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Daniel Bishop and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bohlin looks for a takedown but Figgjo sprawls well. Bohlin shoots in for a takedown but Figgjo shows good takedown defense. Nice takedown defense from Figgjo. No joy for Bohlin on that attempt. Freddie Figgjo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tony Bohlin. Bohlin will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Figgjo buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Figgjo leaves Bohlin with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Figgjo tries to close the distance and clinch but Bohlin swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Bohlin shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Figgjo sprawls well. Figgjo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bohlin gets slowly back to his feet. Figgjo rushes Bohlin and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. A nice glancing elbow lands by Figgjo. Figgjo pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Bohlin can't get the takedown.

Figgjo comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Figgjo misses with an elbow over the top. Bohlin pulls guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
That's one minute gone in the round. Figgjo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bohlin swivels though and keeps the full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Figgjo drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Bohlin dives on top into guard. Figgjo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bohlin gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Figgjo is trying to control the position but Bohlin postures up. Figgjo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Bohlin loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Figgjo working for a triangle but Bohlin defends it easily.
Bohlin tries to free his leg and advance position but Figgjo is retaining full guard. Figgjo is trying to control the position but Bohlin postures up. Figgjo trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Figgjo is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Bohlin is aware though and is defending well. Bohlin drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bohlin jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Bohlin wants to control from the top but Figgjo keeps moving. Bohlin got a little sloppy there for a moment and Figgjo has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bohlin has managed to get both his arms back between Figgjo's legs - danger averted. Bohlin wants to pass the guard but Figgjo is keeping the position.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Bohlin drops back looking for a leg! Figgjo is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Figgjo manages to kick Bohlin off! Bohlin jumps back into Figgjo's guard. Bohlin missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Figgjo is trying to control the position but Bohlin postures up. Figgjo lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Bohlin! Bohlin in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Figgjo is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Bohlin to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Bohlin shrugs it off. Figgjo swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Bohlin is now in Figgjo's guard. A big mistake from Figgjo there, giving up the dominant position! Figgjo will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Figgjo is breathing heavily. Bohlin is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Figgjo working for a triangle but Bohlin defends it easily.
Bohlin wants to pass the guard but Figgjo is keeping the position. Bohlin must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Figgjo manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bohlin manages to get himself to full guard.

Bohlin seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bohlin tries to move to mount but Figgjo blocks the move with his legs. You can see the frustration on Figgjo's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Bohlin working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Bohlin tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Figgjo manages to work his way to half guard, despite Bohlin's best efforts.

Bohlin is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Figgjo. Figgjo wants to control but Bohlin postures up. Bohlin tries for a kimura but Figgjo is defending well. Figgjo tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Bohlin wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Figgjo struggling a bit here. Tony Bohlin has got the better of the ground game so far.

Figgjo manages to get back to half guard. Bohlin wants to lay and pray for a moment but Figgjo keeps working. Bohlin is pressing down on Figgjo's thigh, looking to free his foot. That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Bohlin is thwarting Figgjo's attempts to control the position. Bohlin wants to work for an arm triangle but Figgjo is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
