Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Junior Dos Melanos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vince Boudreau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boudreau has chosen Mad World as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boudreau keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Dos Melanos tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Boudreau swivels and escapes.
Dos Melanos shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Boudreau as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Junior Dos Melanos. That's going to take a lot out of him.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dos Melanos uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Boudreau.
Boudreau bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Dos Melanos's head backwards.

The fighters circle momentarily. Boudreau darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Dos Melanos connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Boudreau momentarily.

Boudreau fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Dos Melanos is breathing heavily.
Boudreau lands with a hook. Dos Melanos tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

BAM! Boudreau delivers a spinning backfist that drops Dos Melanos like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!
