Bagato circles away from the clinch attempt.
Bagato fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Bagato looks to land a combination but Maia avoids it well.
Maia wants to clinch up but Bagato keeps it at a distance.
Demian Maia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bagato throws a right and a left that Maia avoids nicely.
Maia bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Maia looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Bagato is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Maia has just dragged him back down to the mat.
