Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Chuck Tyrone!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Felipe Paraventi and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maldonado misses with a few strikes there.
Tyrone shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Maldonado as he avoids it easily.
Maldonado throws a nice looking combination but Tyrone bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Maldonado pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Maldonado stuffs the takedown attempt from Tyrone. Tyrone gets slowly back to his feet.
Maldonado throws a push kick but Tyrone slaps the foot to one side.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Maldonado looks to throw an elbow but misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tyrone drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chuck Tyrone. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tyrone is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Maldonado breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Maldonado moves in looking to clinch but Tyrone pushes him off.
Tyrone decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Tyrone could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Tyrone is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Maldonado doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Tyrone.
Tyrone prevents Maldonado from standing back up.
Maldonado is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Maldonado looking for submissions off his back.
Maldonado is looking to escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Tyrone trying to mount his opponent but Maldonado defends it.
Maldonado pushes Tyrone off looking to stand but Tyrone dives back in and keeps control.
Maldonado looks gassed!
Tyrone in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Maldonado tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Tyrone!
