Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between EJ Tap (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hugh Matthews (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tap's entrance music is Pop Lock and Drop It. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Yves DeLean and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tap blocks a jab.
Tap shoots in for a takedown but Matthews shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Matthews misses with a hook. Tap ducked under it nicely.
A jab from Tap misses.
A right-left combo lands from Tap.
Tap connects with a right hand. Matthews shakes it off.
Matthews lands a nice shot to the body.
Matthews shoots in and gets a takedown into Tap's guard.
Tap keeping moving, preventing Matthews from controlling successfully.
Tap bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Matthews's guard.
Tap throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Matthews works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Tap stops Matthews from standing up.
Matthews uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Matthews throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Tap stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Matthews takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Tap shoots for a double leg takedown but Matthews sprawls well. He's pushed Tap's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Matthews ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tap moves away.
Tap walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Tap circles away from the clinch attempt.
Matthews lands a nice hook to Tap's body. Tap takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Matthews scores a takedown into full mount!
Tap can't escape the position.
Matthews can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Tap is looking to escape.

Matthews postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Tap looks a forlorn figure.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Matthews cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
