Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lucky Strike (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tourette Syndrome (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Strike comes to the cage accompanied by Limp Bizkit - Rollin. Lucky Strike had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lucky Strike ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tourette Syndrome! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Syndrome swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A jab from Syndrome misses. Strike turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Strike avoids a punch combination nicely.

Strike lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. A combination from Syndrome does no damage. Strike shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Syndrome's guard. Strike distracts Syndrome with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Strike wants to control from the top but Syndrome keeps moving. Strike stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Syndrome swivels though and keeps the full guard. Strike trying to control but Syndrome is working from the bottom. Strike controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Strike pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Syndrome is keeping the position for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Strike wants to control from the top but Syndrome keeps moving.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Lucky Strike just wasn't active enough. Sloppy strikes from Syndrome. Those never looked like landing. Syndrome throws a nice looking combination but Strike bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Syndrome misses with a series of wild punches.
Syndrome feints a jab promting Strike to slip. Syndrome then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Strike slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Syndrome misses with a wild body shot. Syndrome looks to score with a jab to the body but Strike is just out of range. Strike takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Syndrome misses with a wild combination.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Syndrome misses with an uppercut. Syndrome ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Strike moves away. Syndrome tries to bum rush Strike with a series of wild strikes but Strike uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Strike tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Syndrome manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Strike connects with a single shot there. Strike moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

Strike looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Strike is working hard here to advance position. Strike keeping full guard, as Syndrome tries to pass. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Strike manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Syndrome manages to get himself to full guard.
Strike slips nicely into half guard. Strike wants to free his trapped foot but Syndrome is holding on for dear life with his legs. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Strike performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Strike wants to control but Syndrome is keeping him busy. Strike tries to pass the half guard into mount. Syndrome knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Strike is keen to just control but Syndrome is a slippery customer.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Lucky Strike just wasn't active enough. Syndrome looks to land a combination but Strike avoids it well. Syndrome misses with a series of wild punches.

Strike scores with the left hand. Syndrome knows he should have avoided that one. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lucky Strike dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Strike uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Syndrome.
Strike scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Strike fails in his attempt to clinch. Syndrome throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Strike . A looping hook to the body misses from Syndrome. Strike does a little dance to reset his feet. Strike misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

and Strike counters with a nice double leg into guard. Strike wants to control from the top but Syndrome keeps moving. Strike is pushing down on Syndrome's leg trying to pass to half guard. Syndrome is fighting to maintain full guard but Strike has managed to sneak the leg through. Syndrome is staying active underneath Strike , who seems content to just control the action from this position. Syndrome is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Well, if Strike is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Strike missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Syndrome is trying to maintain the position but Strike is very close to passing his half guard. Strike is working for a submission of some sort.
Syndrome is in trouble now - Strike has advanced to mount! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Strike is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Syndrome has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Syndrome! Strike is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Strike looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Strike looking to control.
Syndrome slips nicely into half guard. Strike wants to sweep but Syndrome has passed to side control! Strike tries to buck Syndrome off but Syndrome is having none of it. Syndrome working away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Strike is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Syndrome tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Strike tries to bench press Syndrome off him but Syndrome keeps the position. Syndrome works to advance to full mount. Strike defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Strike manages to regain half guard. Good work. Strike is trying to maintain the position but Syndrome is very close to passing his half guard. Syndrome prevents Strike from improving his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Strike is looking to control Syndrome's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Strike avoid being mounted? Strike moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Syndrome stands and throws Strike 's legs to the side, diving into side control. Syndrome tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Strike is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Strike tries to get to full guard but Syndrome has control of the leg. Strike is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Syndrome jumps into side control! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lucky Strike dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

and Strike counters with a nice kick to the body. We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Syndrome in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off. Strike has taken the fight to the clinch.

Strike misses with a knee to the head. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Syndrome taking a breather. Syndrome takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Good anti-grappling being displayed by Syndrome as Strike tries to tie him up. Syndrome tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Strike 's elbow. Strike creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Syndrome's defenses. Syndrome misses with a short punch on the inside. Strike fails to pull the fight into his guard.

and Strike counters with a nice leg kick. Syndrome is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Strike rather than just go for the knockout. Strike tries to close the distance and clinch up but Syndrome swats him away and circles back towards the center. Strike tries a head kick but it misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Strike tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Strike uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Syndrome. Syndrome swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Strike counters with a solid body kick. Strike instigates a clinch. Strike tries to stall but Syndrome uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Strike jumps guard but Syndrome stands there with Strike around his waist. Strike gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

A kick lands to the mid section there for Strike . Syndrome moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Strike tries to clinch but Syndrome is having none of it. Lucky Strike is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Syndrome misses with a double jab
and Strike counters by clinching up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Strike blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Strike will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Syndrome up against the cage. Strike goes for a takedown attempt but Syndrome pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

and Strike counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Strike passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Syndrome! Strike with some aggressive grappling here, looking for the finish.
Tourette Syndrome has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Strike tries to control but Syndrome wriggling away. Strike moves to his opponent's back but Syndrome bucks him off and ends up in guard. A bit of a disaster there for Strike .
That's four minutes gone in the round. Strike bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Syndrome's guard. Strike tries to free his leg and advance position but Syndrome is retaining full guard. Strike postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Strike trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Strike landing with the ground and pound. Lucky Strike is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Syndrome can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Strike controls the pace.
And that's the end of the fight! Lucky Strike showed his dominance in that final round. Well Strike has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
