Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sheldon Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruno Ferro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Nard Betker and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferro throws a head kick but Penn moves out of range.
Penn gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Ferro to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Penn is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Ferro defends well.
Penn working for a triangle but Ferro defends it easily.
Ferro passes into half guard.
Ferro wants to free his trapped foot but Penn is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Ferro passes to full mount!
Ferro wants to finish this one by submission but Penn is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Ferro.
Penn is looking to get to half guard.
Ferro has control of Penn's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Penn regains control of the situation pretty easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ferro is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Penn can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Ferro has isolated one of Penn's arms. Penn looking to fight him off but Ferro twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
