Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Brian Murphy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mark Schulz!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Nard Betker and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Schulz forces Murphy back against the cage and clinches.
Schulz tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Murphy smiles and moves away.
Murphy displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Schulz.
Nice takedown defense from Murphy. No joy for Schulz on that attempt.
Brian Murphy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mark Schulz.
Murphy throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Schulz stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Schulz on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.


It looks like Mark Schulz has been cut.
Schulz shoots in but Murphy avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Schulz checks the leg kick.

Murphy lands with a straight right. Schulz didn't see that one coming.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Schulz looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Murphy bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Schulz's head backwards.
Murphy dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Schulz. That did some damage!
Brian Murphy is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Schulz looks gassed!
Murphy scores with a leg kick.
Murphy uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Murphy feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Schulz sprawling to the canvas! Schulz rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Murphy finish him?!


Schulz is rocked!
Murphy lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Brian Murphy!
