Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dustin Martin!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Lance Uppercutt!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uppercutt fails with the takedown

and Martin counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Uppercutt!

Martin has control of Uppercutt's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Uppercutt regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Martin avoids the attempt from Uppercutt to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Uppercutt is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Martin is staying active.
Uppercutt holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Martin tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Uppercutt is squirming around, avoiding Martin's attempts to control the action.
Uppercutt is desperately trying to improve his position but Martin has a good base and remains in mount.
Uppercutt is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Martin sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Uppercutt should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Martin looking to control but Uppercutt is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Martin misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Martin will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Uppercutt tries to lock up and control but Martin gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Uppercutt sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Martin wants to take a breather but Uppercutt is having none of it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Dustin Martin.
That kick from Martin tenderised Uppercutt's leg. Uppercutt is trying to keep his angry face on.
Uppercutt gets hit by the mother of all head kicks and drops to the canvas in a crumpled heap! Woooow, the Internet is going to be talking about this one for weeks!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Dustin Martin!
