Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Paulo Santos and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
kong misses with a takedown
and Gipsy counters with a lovely straight right hand!
kong looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Gipsy tries a head kick but it misses.
Gipsy shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. kong manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Gipsy stands and throws kong's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Gipsy tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Gipsy has hold of kong's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! kong tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Gipsy cranks the arm and kong screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from kong, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Doro Gipsy!
