Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sayid Jarrah! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Emerson Jorge and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jarrah looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Jarrah closes the distance but Fodder moves to the side and Fodder counters with a lovely straight right hand! Jarrah with a lazy takedown attempt and Fodder counters with a lovely straight right hand! Fodder clinches up against the cage. Fodder jumps guard and drags Jarrah to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Fodder holds on and takes a little breather. Jarrah is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Fodder has his foot on Jarrah's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jarrah works his way back into a safe position though. Fodder isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Jarrah stacks Fodder on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Jarrah! Fodder tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Jarrah wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Jarrah wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fodder keeps working. Jarrah is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Fodder knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Jarrah is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Fodder has escaped the position, nice work there.

Fodder wants to control but Jarrah is keeping busy and won't allow it. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Jarrah lands a nice short elbow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Jarrah is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Jarrah working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Fodder is wriggling around trying to escape.
Fodder tries to lock up and control but Jarrah gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Jarrah is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Fodder has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Fodder is looking to get to half guard. Fodder is working hard here to advance position. BOOM! Jarrah connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Fodder is desperately trying to improve his position but Jarrah has a good base and remains in mount. Jarrah is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Fodder can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jarrah is keen to just control but Fodder is a slippery customer. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Fodder is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Jarrah pulls his head out easily. Fodder is looking to control Jarrah's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Fodder avoid being mounted? And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sayid Jarrah dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Fodder moves into the clinch. Fodder is pressed up against the cage. Jarrah has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Fodder down to the mat. Fodder avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Fodder tries for a takedown but Jarrah circles away easily and Jarrah decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Fodder's guard. Fodder is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Jarrah wants to control from the top but Fodder keeps moving. Fodder looking for a sweep. Jarrah has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Jarrah slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jarrah can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Fodder working for a triangle but Jarrah defends it easily.
Jarrah working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Fodder's head. Fodder keeping moving, preventing Jarrah from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fodder wants to sweep here but Jarrah controlling him for the moment. Fodder working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Jarrah. Fodder has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Jarrah should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Fodder has tightened it up now! Jarrah should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
