Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bo Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dolph Rundgren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dolph Rundgren looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bo Jackson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dolph Rundgren! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rundgren fails with a takedown attempt from distance. No luck with that takedown attempt from Rundgren. Jackson leaves Rundgren with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Bo Jackson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dolph Rundgren. Rundgren looks gassed! Rundgren changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jackson tries to avoid it but Rundgren manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jackson to the ground. Jackson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Jackson instigates a clinch. Jackson can't get the takedown.
Rundgren lands a takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rundgren drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Jackson dives on top into guard. Jackson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Jackson tries to free his leg and advance position but Rundgren is retaining full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rundgren throws his legs up looking for a submission but Jackson uses it to pass to side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Rundgren tries to get back to half guard but can't. Jackson content just to control the position here.

We're going to have a standup here because Bo Jackson wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Rundgren fails with a takedown attempt. Rundgren fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jackson avoids it really well and circles away. Rundgren shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Jackson defends it nicely. Jackson could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Jackson drives through with a takedown into guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rundgren throws his legs up looking for a submission but Jackson uses it to pass to side control.
Jackson just content to control the position. Rundgren is positioning himself to get back to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jackson controlling from side mount. Rundgren looking for a sweep but Jackson has passed into full mount! Oh no! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bo Jackson dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Rundgren doesn't succeed with the takedown and Jackson counters with a takedown into side control. Rundgren is looking for a sweep. Rundgren tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Jackson presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Jackson controlling from the full mount. Rundgren is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rundgren is wriggling around trying to escape.
Jackson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Rundgren can't escape the position.
Jackson controlling from the full mount. Jackson seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Rundgren for as long as he can get away with. Rundgren is working to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Jackson sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

Bo Jackson dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Rundgren with a poor takedown and Jackson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Jackson content to stall in guard here. Rundgren isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Jackson stacks Rundgren on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Jackson! Rundgren tries to improve position but can't. Rundgren looks to move to half guard but instead Jackson has passed into mount! Damn! Jackson fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Rundgren takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rundgren is looking to get to half guard. Rundgren is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Jackson looking to control and managing it successfully. Rundgren tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson looking to control and managing it successfully. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Rundgren takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Rundgren is in all sorts of trouble here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Bo Jackson is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jackson controlling from mount. Dolph Rundgren has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Bo Jackson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Rundgren throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.
And that's the end of the fight! Bo Jackson showed his dominance in that final round. Well Jackson has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
