Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between James Ennis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Sotiropoulos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, James Ennis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, George Sotiropoulos! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Hugh Johnson and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sotiropoulos misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Ennis misses with a two punch combination.
Sotiropoulos tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ennis was well out of range. Poor timing from Sotiropoulos. Sotiropoulos drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. No luck with that takedown attempt from Sotiropoulos. Ennis shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Ennis was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Ennis wants to control the pace but Sotiropoulos is squirming around nicely. Sotiropoulos working to try and regain half guard.
Ennis scoring with strikes but Sotiropoulos is staying in there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ennis is in the full mount, landing strikes. Sotiropoulos tries to reverse the position but Ennis maintains control. Ennis looking to secure an arm triangle but Sotiropoulos defends it well. Sotiropoulos tries to improve his position but Ennis has taken his back! Ennis has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Sotiropoulos tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Ennis pushes Sotiropoulos away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
