Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alvin Joiner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adams Jacobs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joiner comes into the arena with Xzibit - Bitch Please blaring out of the sound system. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Adams Jacobs! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Joseph Jones and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Joiner has managed to clinch.
Jacobs tries to pull guard but Joiner holds him up against the cage and eventually Jacobs drops back down to his feet.
Jacobs takes an elbow to the forehead.
It looks like Adams Jacobs has been cut. Jacobs takes an elbow to the temple. Joiner has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Jacobs clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Jacobs trying to control the position but Joiner manages to sink in the hooks. Jacobs wants to escape the position.
Jacobs trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. Joiner is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. Jacobs avoids the strikes from Joiner. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jacobs rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
That's one minute gone in the round. Joiner stands up and beckons Jacobs to join him on the feet. Joiner closes the distance and clinches. A knee to the head by Joiner.

Joiner has clasped his hands together around Jacobs's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Joiner decides to take the fight back to the feet. No luck for Jacobs with that takedown attempt. Alvin Joiner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adams Jacobs. Jacobs closes the distance and clinches up with Joiner, looking for a takedown. Jacobs pushes Joiner against the cage but Joiner circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Joiner works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Joiner showing good wrestling skills to control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Joiner has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Joiner stopping the sweep attempt from Jacobs. Jacobs is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Jacobs striking off his back but it's not causing Joiner any problems. Joiner has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Joiner has Jacobs up against the cage in a clinch.
