The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fraser misses the shot to the body. Fraser moves into the clinch. Fraser has Stone pressed against the cage, preventing Stone from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Fraser lands a right hand.
It looks like Jack Stone has been cut. Fraser digs a right hand into Stone's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Stone's gas tank. Fraser digs a right hand underneath Stone's ribcage. Stone let out a lung full of air as it connected. Stone looks gassed! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Fraser lands with a right to the head. Fraser lands a knee to the body.
Fraser lands a body shot in the clinch.
Fraser stalling.
Fraser lands a left hand.
A nice left hand lands by Fraser.
Fraser lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Stone being controlled against the cage. Fraser lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Stone backwards. Fraser lands with a left to the head. Fraser breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Stone tries to keep at a distance but Fraser has taken the fight into the clinch. Fraser lands with a light punch inside. Fraser with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Fraser. Fraser lands a body shot. Fraser makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Fraser lands an uppercut. A short uppercut from Fraser. Fraser presses Stone against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Fraser lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stone takes a shot to the head.
That has opened up Jack Stone's cut even more. Fraser is working Stone over against the cage. Fraser lands a hook to the side of the head.
Stone is rocked! Stone is trying to break the clinch but Fraser is controlling him. Fraser lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Stone backwards. Fraser lands a right hand. A short right from Fraser on the inside. Stone is still on wobbly legs! Can Fraser finish him? Fraser pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Stone seems to have recovered his senses. Fraser uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Fraser moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Stone goes down! Can Fraser finish him!? Fraser content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Stone really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fraser. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Fraser sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Stone's guard. Fraser will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Stone is trying to maintain the position but Fraser is very close to passing his half guard. Fraser thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Fraser wants to lay and pray for a moment but Stone keeps working. Fraser moves into full mount! Stone won't be happy about that!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fraser can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Stone is looking to escape. Fraser fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
The cut above Jack Stone's eye is starting to cause him problems now. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Fraser landing shots from mount. Stone is trying desperately to improve position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fraser landing strikes from the mount.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jack Stone's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Donald Fraser!
