Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between IP Freely (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Daring (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daring feints and as Freely raises his hands in defense, Daring changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Daring looking to pass the guard.
Freely on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Freely tries to get out of the position.
Daring advances to half guard.
Freely knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Daring on the ground.
Daring missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Daring is looking to advance position but Freely won't allow it.
Daring is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Freely!
Daring is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Freely is surviving well by controlling Daring's body position as best he can.

Daring lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Freely wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Daring.
Daring is working for a guillotine from mount but Freely frees his head quite easily.

Daring misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Daring is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Freely to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Freely shrugs it off.
Daring working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

Freely holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Daring tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Daring swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Freely is now in Daring's guard. A big mistake from Daring there, giving up the dominant position!
Daring scrambles and gets back to his feet.

That's time! Freely's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Daring is looking to clinch but Freely is avoiding it.

Daring throws a sloppy head kick and Freely moves out of range easily.
Daring shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Freely's guard.

Daring changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Freely tries to avoid it but Daring manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Freely to the ground. Freely escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Daring tries to close the distance and clinch up but Freely swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Freely connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Daring's hands.

Freely swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Freely keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Freely avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Freely scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Daring throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Freely tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Daring is in Freely's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Freely keeping full guard, as Daring tries to pass.
Daring has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Daring passes Freely's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Daring is pressing down on Freely's thigh, looking to free his foot. Freely is holding on for now.
