Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Charlie Newman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Lindh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Newman comes into the arena with You cant hide you cant run - Dilated Peoples blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Thomas Lindh! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Glass and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Newman dodges the punch combination from Lindh.
Newman lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Lindh forces Newman back against the ropes and clinches. Lindh has picked Newman up - he's going for a ride! Lindh dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Lindh is trying to control. Newman wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Lindh trying to mount his opponent but Newman defends it. Lindh is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Newman has managed to free his arm - good work. Newman is trying to stand.
Lindh tries to pass to full mount but Newman defends it. Newman is looking to escape. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lindh is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Newman sees it coming and defends easily. Newman is staying active underneath Lindh, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Lindh might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Newman kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Lindh thows a huge punch but Newman dodges it nicely.
Lindh is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Newman defends it well. Lindh is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Lindh has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Newman defend it? Lindh steps over the head and cranks it - Newman is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Lindh!
