Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Gancho Santos!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bamba is defended easily by Santos.
Santos wants to clinch.
Santos misses with a takedown attempt
and Bamba counters by moving into the clinch.
Bamba breaks the clinch.
Santos swats away the attempt to clinch by Bamba.
Santos bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Bamba tries to improve position but can't.
Bamba is trying to escape the position but Santos is controlling the position.
Bamba is looking to reverse the position.
Bamba is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Bamba is looking to regain half guard here but Santos keeps moving and retains side control.
Santos has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Bamba displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Santos.

Santos passes Bamba's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Santos not doing much here.
Bamba tries to get to full guard but Santos has control of the leg.

Bamba is breathing heavily.
Santos passes the guard and advances to mount!

Santos cracks Bamba with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bamba knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Santos on the ground.

Bamba has left one of his arms exposed and Santos doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Bamba screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
