Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Fred Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Massif Dong!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Bruno Hogan and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee avoids a punch combination nicely.
Lee steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Dong.
Lee slips a jab from Dong.
Lee closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dong circles away.
Lee avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Lee drops Dong with a nice combination! Lee dives into Dong's guard, looking to finish!
Lee wants to control from the top but Dong keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lee stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dong swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dong can't keep his opponent in guard - Lee advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Lee is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Dong is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
