Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bruno Valfrid Ahlberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paavali Pietari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pietari is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Prodigy - Smack My Bitch Up. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Ben Zyskovitsi and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ahlberg misses with a few strikes there.
Ahlberg keeps the fight on the outside.
Paavali Pietari seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ahlberg lands with a right hand.
Ahlberg throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Pietari is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Pietari tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ahlberg paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Pietari is looking to score with low kicks.
Pietari tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ahlberg swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Pietari wants to clinch.
Pietari moves in looking to clinch but Ahlberg pushes him off.

Pietari fails with an attempt to clinch.
Ahlberg will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ahlberg cracks Pietari with a right hand to the side of the head.
Ahlberg swats away the attempt to clinch by Pietari.
Pietari throws a left and a right that both miss
and Ahlberg makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Ahlberg lands a nice hook to Pietari's body. Pietari takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Pietari looks gassed!
Ahlberg takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
A punch combination from Ahlberg misses.
A jab-cross combination lands for Ahlberg and sends Pietari crashing to the mat! Ahlberg follows him down to the mat - Pietari regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
Pietari is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ahlberg has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Pietari defend it? Ahlberg steps over the head and cranks it - Pietari is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Ahlberg!
