Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between DJ Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Roach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, DJ Anderson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nick Roach! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anderson gets tackled into the cage by Roach. Roach maintains the clinch. Anderson breaks the clinch.
Roach is looking to clinch. Anderson tries to land a front kick but Roach steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Anderson tries for a takedown but Roach sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Anderson gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Roach to score an easy takedown into full guard. Anderson being controlled here, momentarily. Anderson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Roach defends it easily. Anderson is looking for a triangle but Roach pushes his legs off easily.
Anderson wants to get back to his feet but Roach is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Roach tries to stand but Anderson is controlling from the bottom. Roach must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's one minute gone in the round. Roach postures up in Anderson's guard and throws a big left but Anderson blocks it. Roach really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Anderson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Roach in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Roach slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Roach pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Anderson is keeping the position for now. Anderson throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Anderson tries to land a sweep but no joy. Roach wants to pass the guard but Anderson is keeping the position. Roach throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Anderson works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Anderson is trying to control the position but Roach postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Anderson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Roach is looking to reverse the position. Roach wants to control but Anderson postures up. Roach tries to buck Anderson off but Anderson is having none of it. Anderson wants to control but Roach is keeping him busy. Anderson is breathing heavily. Anderson stands up and beckons Roach to his feet. Roach misses with a head kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Anderson with a lazy takedown attempt and Roach counters with a single leg into guard. Anderson didn't expect that. Roach lands a couple of decent looking shots. Anderson trying to control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Roach tries to free his leg and advance position but Anderson is retaining full guard. Roach not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Roach stands up from guard. Let's bang! Anderson tries to clinch but fails miserably and Roach counters with a nice double leg into guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Anderson is trying to control the position from the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Roach has gone for a leg lock! Anderson slips out almost immediately though and dives into Roach's guard. Anderson wants to control from the top but Roach keeps moving. Anderson tries to free his leg and advance position but Roach is retaining full guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Roach is looking to stand up but Anderson isn't so interested in that idea. Anderson postures up in Roach's guard and throws a big left but Roach blocks it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nick Roach dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Anderson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Roach is not content to let Anderson control the position. Anderson tries to move into full mount but can't pass Roach's legs. Roach wants to get back to his feet but Anderson drags him back down. Roach sneaks back into half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anderson is nestled in close to Roach, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Roach is looking to control Anderson's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Roach avoid being mounted? Nick Roach has got the better of the ground game so far. Roach is looking to get back to is feet but Anderson passes into side control.
Anderson is looking to take a break and control but Roach is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Anderson is putting a hurting on Roach here, landing some big shots from side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Anderson decides to stand back up. Anderson steps back and let's Roach get back to his feet. Roach pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Roach gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Anderson trying to control but Roach is working from the bottom. Anderson stands and steps away. Roach gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Anderson tries to clinch up but Roach circles away and keeps his distance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Anderson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Anderson tries to clinch but Roach moves out of range. Roach ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Anderson moves away. Anderson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Anderson decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Roach, up you get! Anderson gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Anderson takes an elbow to the forehead. Roach looking for a takedown. Anderson breaks from the clinch.
Roach tries to clinch and Anderson counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Roach! Roach is trying desperately to improve position. Anderson wants to control the pace but Roach is squirming around nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Roach bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! There's a bit of a scramble here and now Anderson is on top in guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Anderson sitting in guard here, content to control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
DJ Anderson dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Roach avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Roach tries to clinch but Anderson moves out of range. Roach shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Anderson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Roach's guard. Anderson won't allow Roach to get back to his feet. Anderson trying to control but Roach is working from the bottom. Anderson stands up and waves to Roach to follow him. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Anderson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Roach stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anderson blocks a head kick by Roach.
Anderson is looking to clinch. Roach takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Anderson gets a takedown into half guard. Roach is not content to let Anderson control the position. Roach is trying to maintain the position but Anderson is very close to passing his half guard. Roach is in trouble now - Anderson has advanced to mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Roach tries to hold on but Anderson pushes him away. Anderson swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
