With a record of 12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Happy Gilmore!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Atkins and James Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sherk shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Gilmore napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Gilmore is trying to buck Sherk off.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sherk advances to full mount.

Sherk is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Gilmore has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Sherk sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Sherk has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Sherk is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Gilmore can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Gilmore really wants to buck Sherk off and get back to his feet.
Sherk lands a nice shot to the head.

Sherk jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Gilmore is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Gilmore and Sherk has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Gilmore wants to stand and escape but instead Sherk has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Gilmore wants to get back to his feet but Sherk is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
