Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kosty Badzenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kosty Badzenko! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Paul Parker! The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Parker leaves Badzenko with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Badzenko tries to clinch and Parker counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Well, if Parker is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Parker is pressing down on Badzenko's thigh, looking to free his foot. Badzenko is holding on for now. Badzenko is trying to control but can't.
Badzenko is not content to let Parker control the position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Badzenko shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Parker but Parker pushes him off and we're back to square one. Kosty Badzenko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Badzenko has his takedown stuffed and Parker counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kosty Badzenko. That's going to take a lot out of him. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Badzenko wants to get back to his feet but Parker is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Badzenko keeping full guard, as Parker tries to pass. Parker wants to get up but he can't break Badzenko's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Parker stopping the sweep attempt from Badzenko. Parker sitting in guard, not really doing much. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Badzenko is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Parker misses with a wild combination.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Parker throws a right hand that misses
and Badzenko moves into the clinch. Badzenko tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Parker smiles and moves away.
Badzenko throws a head kick that misses. Parker takes a swing at Badzenko's ribcage but misses. Badzenko misses with a takedown attempt and Parker counters with a crisp one two that drops Badzenko! Parker thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Badzenko to his feet! Badzenko is in big trouble!
Badzenko is rocked! Parker looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Oh Badzenko is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Parker throws a right hand that Badzenko ducks under and follows up with a left that Badzenko also avoids with ease. Badzenko seems to have got his legs back now. Parker throws a left and a right that both miss
and Badzenko makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Badzenko pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Parker back to the cage. Badzenko follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Parker throws out a loose jab but Badzenko uses good head movement to avoid it. Badzenko avoids the body shot from Parker.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Badzenko fails with a takedown attempt. Badzenko is breathing heavily. Parker misses with a combination
and Badzenko counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Badzenko shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Parker scores with a body shot.
Parker throws a series of punches but Badzenko moves out of range. Paul Parker is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Parker misses with a double jab.
Parker scores with a jab. Badzenko acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Parker lands a nice looking body shot.
This has been an exciting period of action! Some wild striking there from Parker.
Parker throws a hook to the side of Badzenko's head but Badzenko sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Parker misses with a wild combination.
Parker lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Parker throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Badzenko misses with a takedown and Parker counters with a nice right hand that sends Badzenko toppling to the canvas! Badzenko scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Parker finish him?! Parker misses with a series of wild punches.
Parker throws a left and a right that both miss
and Badzenko counters with a left and a right that stings Parker. Parker lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Badzenko circles away quickly and effectively. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Badzenko showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Parker.
A shot to the body from Parker misses and Badzenko counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Parker lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Paul Parker dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Parker throws a body punch but Badzenko moves out of range. Badzenko works over Parker's head and body with a nice combination. Parker throws an off balance right hand
letting Badzenko counter with a right hand. Parker stuffs the takedown attempt from Badzenko. Badzenko gets slowly back to his feet. Badzenko shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Parker but Parker pushes him off and we're back to square one. Parker connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Badzenko's hands. Kosty Badzenko is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Badzenko doesn't succeed with the takedown and Parker counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Badzenko to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Parker!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Paul Parker!
