Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ze Ro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kitsu Tane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ro's entrance music is 6' 7''. A fine choice. Tane is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Koiji Romanesque. Ze Ro is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tane fails with an attempt to clinch.
Ro throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Tane shoots in for a double leg but Ro sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Tane has a takedown stuffed. Tane takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Tane tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Ro smiles and moves away.
Ze Ro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kitsu Tane. Tane on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Tane shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Tane was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Ro manages to regain half guard whilst avoiding the strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tane is trying to control. Ro wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Tane throwing shots but Ro is blocking nicely. Tane seems to be working for a kimura but Ro defends the submission attempt. Tane trying to mount his opponent but Ro defends it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Tane content to control rather than advance. Tane moves nicely into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tane tries to advance to mount but Ro denies him. Ro tries to escape but Tane is in control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tane is trying to move to mount but Ro reverses beautifully and ends up in Tane's guard. Tane looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ro is one step ahead there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. That was a close round but I would say that Ze Ro will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Tane shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ro sprawls well. Ro wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Tane gets slowly back to his feet. Tane tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ro swivels and escapes. Tane wants to clinch and Ro counters by moving into the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ro misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Tane.

Ro's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Tane shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ro pinned against the cage. Ro gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Ro uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tane.
Tane with a poor takedown and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Ro throws a nice head kick!
Tane wants to clinch but Ro slips to the side and Ro counters with a leg kick. Tane shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Ro makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Tane is breathing heavily. Ro slaps away a takedown attempt from Tane, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ro throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Ro pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ro tries to clinch there but Tane circles away.
Ro rushes Tane and presses him up against the cage. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ro throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Tane blocks it with crossed arms. Ro tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Tane has Ro pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Ro manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Ro manages to break the clinch.
Ro lands a nice leg kick that just misses Tane's sensitive parts. Ro looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Ro fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Tane checks it well. Ro is looking to slow Tane down with leg kicks.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ro dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Ro ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Ze Ro is winning the standup battle so far. Ro buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
A solid leg kick lands there for Ro.
Ro throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Tane's head. Ro cracks the inside of Tane's front leg. This has been an exciting period of action! Ro throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. A head kick misses from Ro. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Ro. Tane shrugs it off though. Ro lands a head kick. Tane smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
That's four minutes gone in the round. No luck with that takedown attempt from Tane. Ro throws a head kick that misses. Ro misses the shot to the body. Ro moves into the clinch. Tane can't get the takedown.

A nice leg kick lands there from Ro. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ro throws a leg kick which misses Tane's front leg but catches the back leg as Tane tries to avoid it. An inside leg kick lands from Ro. Ze Ro dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Ro turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Tane tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ro swivels and escapes. Ro scores with a push kick. Ro throws a quick inside leg kick. Crunch! Ro slams his shin into Tane's torso. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ro has Tane up against the cage in a clinch.
Tane's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Tane takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Ro is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ro has Tane pushed against the cage. Ro misses with a knee to the head. Tane can't get the takedown.
Ro is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Tane can do to turn this around? Ro breaks from the clinch.
Ro closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Ro escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
An inside leg kick lands from Ro. Tane on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Ro. Ro obviously looking to wear him down.
A lazy body kick from Tane and Ro counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Tane thinking. Ro throws a quick inside leg kick. Ro forces Tane back against the cage and clinches.

Tane takes a knee to the side of the body. Ro connects with a knee to the head.
Ro misses with a knee to the head. Ro with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Ro tries to land knees in the clinch but Tane avoids the damage to the body. Ro unloads a knee to the mid-section. Tane lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Nice body punch from Ro. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ro looking to throw knees to the head but Tane is blocking nicely.
Tane is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Ro gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Ro tries to land knees in the clinch but Tane avoids the damage to the body. Kitsu Tane has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Ro tries to land knees in the clinch but Tane avoids the damage to the body. Ro taking a breather.
And that's the end of the fight! Ze Ro showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ro, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
