Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Miyake Morimasa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roscoe Conwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Conwell is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by David Bowie ft David Guetta - Just For One Day (Heroes). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Miyake Morimasa! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Roscoe Conwell! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Morimasa pivots, looking for a leg kick but Conwell is out of range and Morimasa settles back down. Morimasa is looking to score with low kicks. Morimasa pushes Conwell away with a front kick. A low kick from Conwell misses and Morimasa counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Morimasa throws a jab but it's blocked by Conwell. Morimasa throws a nice looking combination but Conwell bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Conwell checks a leg kick. Morimasa tries to close the distance and clinch but Conwell swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Morimasa lands a lovely overhand right. A slow jab from Morimasa misses its intended target. Conwell will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Morimasa misses with a straight left. Morimasa lands with a nice body kick. Morimasa looks to land a body kick but Conwell moved away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Morimasa looks to land a right hand but Conwell moved out of range. Morimasa throws a leg kick that is checked and Conwell counters with a stiff right hand. Morimasa throws a leg kick and Conwell makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Morimasa thows a body shot but no joy. Morimasa digs a good body shot into Conwell's ribs. Morimasa misses with a straight right. Morimasa throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Morimasa scores with a jab. Conwell lands a glancing blow to the side of Morimasa's head. Conwell slips a straight right by Morimasa. Morimasa uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Conwell.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Conwell blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Morimasa wants to stall.
Morimasa throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Morimasa throws an elbow that misses.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Conwell as Morimasa tries to tie him up. Morimasa is struggling to control the position. Conwell is trying to break the clinch but Morimasa is controlling him. Conwell blocks the elbow strike.
Conwell tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Morimasa looks to throw an elbow but misses. A head punch on the inside from Conwell fails to land. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Morimasa as Conwell tries to tie him up. Conwell escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Morimasa gets off balance looking for a body kick and Conwell counters with a body kick. This has been an exciting period of action! Conwell cracks Morimasa with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Morimasa tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Morimasa misses with a combination
and Conwell counters with a head kick that wobbles Morimasa - left then right he sways and one more bomb from Conwell sends him down. This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Roscoe Conwell! Roscoe Conwell is the new light heavyweight champion!
