Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Axl Aoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and OROCHI Maru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, OROCHI Maru!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Kenichi Hosakawa and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aoki moves out of range of the body kick.
Maru shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Aoki defends it nicely.
Maru is looking to clinch.
Maru fails with an attempt to clinch.
Horrible takedown by Maru or perhaps it was just good defense by Aoki which made him look bad.
Aoki looks for a takedown but Maru sprawls well.
Aoki scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Aoki is looking for a kimura but Maru is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Aoki to get the leverage.
Maru tries to get to full guard but Aoki has control of the leg.
Aoki is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Maru has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Aoki is working away from the top position though.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Maru might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Aoki kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Maru is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Maru is looking to escape.
Aoki is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Maru tries to get to full guard but Aoki has control of the leg.
Aoki is trying for a kimura here. Maru looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Aoki wins by kimura!
