Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Studebaker Hawk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Fuller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hawk comes to the cage accompanied by silver hawk. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Studebaker Hawk! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jay Fuller! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Joseph Jones and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fuller avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Hawk checks a leg kick. Fuller chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Hawk loads up on a big right hand but Fuller slips the punch. Hawk tries to clinch up. Fuller throws the left hand but Hawk avoids the punch easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fuller ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Hawk is looking to clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fuller tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Hawk rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fuller moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Hawk throws a lazy right hand but Fuller sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Hawk misses with the combination.
Hawk bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Good work by Hawk as he checks the leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Fuller showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Hawk.
Hawk misses with a straight left. Fuller scores with a hook to the body. Hawk takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Hawk tries a head kick but it misses.
Fuller shoots in and gets a takedown into Hawk's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hawk wants to sweep here but Fuller controlling him for the moment. Fuller trying to control but Hawk is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fuller is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Hawk looking to control.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jay Fuller. Hawk slips a jab from Fuller.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Hawk misses with a takedown letting Fuller counter with a right hand. Hawk misses with an uppercut. Fuller saw that one coming. A swing and a miss from Hawk. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fuller ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Fuller throws the kick towards the body but Hawk avoids it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jay Fuller dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Hawk falls off balance throwing a combination
and Fuller counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Hawk's guard now. Hawk throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hawk trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
That's one minute gone in the round. Fuller slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Hawk working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fuller doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Hawk is tightening it up a little... Fuller has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Fuller reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Fuller taps out! nice BJJ there by Hawk!
