Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mr Chrome (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Kennen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mark Kennen is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Kennen, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Chrome throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kennen sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Chrome keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Nice defenses there by Kennen.
Kennen takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kennen attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
A slow jab from Chrome misses its intended target.
Kennen avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Kennen takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Chrome ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Chrome lands a nice shot that snaps Kennen's head back.

Kennen shoots in looking for a takedown. Chrome tries to sprawl out of it but Kennen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Chrome manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Chrome throws a shot to the body.
Kennen walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Kennen slips under a jab.
Chrome is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Chrome throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Chrome lands the left hand.
Kennen throws a big shot that misses.
Chrome jabs Kennen right on the nose. Kennen blinks but takes it well.
Kennen looks to land a combination but Chrome avoids it well.
Kennen shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Chrome as he avoids it easily.
Mr Chrome has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mark Kennen.
Kennen throws a sloppy head kick and Chrome moves out of range easily.

Chrome thows a left - swing and a miss!
Kennen takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Jab, jab by Chrome - just one landing.
Kennen misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Kennen looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Chrome is fending him off so far but Kennen persists. Nope, Chrome circles away and we're back to standing.
Chrome dips to his left and cracks Kennen with an uppercut!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mr Chrome dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Kennen doesn't manage to clinch there - Chrome circles away.
Kennen throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
The fighters circle momentarily. Chrome darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Kennen walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Chrome misses with a series of wild punches.
Chrome lands a lovely overhand right.

Chrome throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Chrome has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kennen finds it's way round the side to connect with Chrome's head.

It looks like Mr Chrome has been cut.
A punch lands to the side of Kennen 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Kennen's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Chrome connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kennen scrambles back to his feet.
Chrome throws a series of strikes that have Kennen backpedaling.

Chrome gets a takedown into half guard.

Chrome seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Chrome works his way into full mount!
Chrome lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Kennen is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Chrome lands a big elbow - Kennen is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Kennen is forced to tap out!
