Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hidalgo Montoya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jae Wilco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Hidalgo Montoya! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jae Wilco! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Felipe Paraventi and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wilco tries to clinch but Montoya moves out of range. Montoya tries to score with a low kick but Wilco moves his leg out of the way. Montoya fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Wilco manages to avoid it. Montoya throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Montoya feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Wilco's calf. Wilco lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Montoya backs up against the cage.
Wilco misses with an uppercut. Montoya saw that one coming. Montoya throws a quick inside leg kick. Wilco is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Montoya. Wilco avoids the body shot from Montoya.
Wilco throws a right hand that Montoya ducks under and follows up with a left that Montoya also avoids with ease. Wilco takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Montoya throws a quick inside leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wilco walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Wilco on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Montoya. Montoya obviously looking to wear him down.
Hidalgo Montoya is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Montoya keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Wilco checks a leg kick. Montoya connects with a solid leg kick. Montoya chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Montoya swats away the attempt to clinch by Wilco. Montoya connects with a leg kick. Wilco looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Montoya lands a nice leg kick that just misses Wilco's sensitive parts. A looping hook to the body misses from Wilco. Montoya does a little dance to reset his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Montoya throws a quick inside leg kick. Montoya fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Wilco manages to avoid it. Montoya moves out of range of the strikes. Wilco needs to keep his hands up - Montoya had a free shot at his head there. Montoya stuffs the takedown attempt from Wilco. Wilco gets slowly back to his feet. Jab, jab by Montoya - just one landing. Montoya ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Wilco moves away. Montoya is looking to slow Wilco down with leg kicks. Wilco pulls out of a head kick attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wilco throws a body punch but Montoya moves out of range. Montoya lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Wilco circles away quickly and effectively. Montoya scores with a nice strike. Montoya takes a swing at Wilco's ribcage but misses. Wilco decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Montoya is doing well to control the position and prevent Wilco from advancing to side control. Wilco tries to pass to full mount but Montoya defends it. Wilco is keen to just control but Montoya is a slippery customer.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Montoya is looking to improve his position.
Montoya is pressing down on Wilco's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Montoya is pulling down on Wilco's head to control his posture. Montoya lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Wilco! Wilco regains half guard. Montoya wants to stand up but Wilco is controlling the position.
Montoya with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hidalgo Montoya dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Wilco lands a glancing blow to the side of Montoya's head. Montoya wants to slow Wilco down by chopping away at his legs. Wilco closes the distance and clinches. Wilco is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Montoya gets underhooks to prevent Wilco's takedown attempt.

Wilco has Montoya pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Montoya manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Wilco drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Montoya gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Hidalgo Montoya has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jae Wilco. A short right from Montoya. Wilco misses with a short punch on the inside. Wilco goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Montoya stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Montoya tries to work over Wilco's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Montoya goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Montoya works on Wilco's body with a couple of short punches. Wilco's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Montoya lands a body punch. Wilco has a couple of punches blocked by Montoya.

Montoya blocks a body shot from Wilco. A nice glancing elbow lands by Montoya. Wilco tries to throw a body punch but Montoya avoids it by throwing Wilco back against the cage. A head punch blocked on the inside by Montoya. Montoya lands a hook to the side of the head. Montoya tries to work over Wilco's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wilco is trying to stall.
A head punch on the inside from Wilco fails to land. Montoya prevents a body shot from Wilco. Wilco tries for a takedown. No joy.
Wilco jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Montoya walks away with a smile on his face. Wilco gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Montoya lands the left hand. Wilco is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Montoya. Montoya throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Wilco counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Montoya! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Wilco throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Montoya because Wilco loaded up on that one. Montoya blocking the ground and pound. Wilco thowing shots but they're missing. Wilco unloads with some shots from mount but Montoya bucks and avoids them well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wilco jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Montoya is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Montoya and Wilco has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Montoya regains half guard. Montoya is trying is best to control the position here. Montoya wants to control but Wilco is keeping busy.
Wilco looks to land a strike but Montoya avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wilco postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Wilco postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Montoya utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Wilco trying to control the position from guard on top but Montoya is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Wilco has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Wilco controls from within his opponent's guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Wilco accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Jae Wilco will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Montoya lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Montoya thows a left - swing and a miss! The fight moves into the clinch position. Wilco jumps guard and drags Montoya to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Montoya wants to stand and escape but instead Wilco has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Wilco scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Wilco looking to sit in guard and control but Montoya gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Montoya trying to control the position from guard on top but Wilco is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Wilco looking for a guillotine here but Montoya defends easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wilco wants to sweep here but Montoya controlling him for the moment. Montoya avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Wilco looking to hit a scissor sweep but Montoya is one step ahead there. Wilco is working an open guard so Montoya takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Wilco fails with an attempt to clinch.
Montoya cracks the inside of Wilco's front leg. Montoya tries to bum rush Wilco with a series of wild strikes but Wilco uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Wilco throws a head kick but Montoya moves out of range.
Wilco shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Wilco was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Montoya working to try and regain half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wilco misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Wilco putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Wilco wants to control the pace but Montoya is squirming around nicely. Montoya regains half guard. Wilco with the ground and pound but Montoya uses the opportunity to regain guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wilco preventing the sweep. Wilco wants to control from the top but Montoya keeps moving. Montoya controls Wilco momentarily but Wilco frees himself. Wilco throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Montoya works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Wilco trying to control the position from guard on top but Montoya is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Montoya manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Wilco manages to get himself to full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Jae Wilco comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Wilco has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
