Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between balazs nemeth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Howie Roberts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Tarja Halkonen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roberts doesn't manage to clinch there - nemeth circles away.
nemeth cracks the inside of Roberts's front leg.
nemeth stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and nemeth wants it to stay on the feet.
nemeth gets the takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Roberts is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but nemeth has just dragged him back down to the mat.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
nemeth decides to stand back up. nemeth steps back and let's Roberts get back to his feet.
Roberts throws a series of punches but nemeth moves out of range.
nemeth fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Roberts sprawls well initially but nemeth persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, nemeth cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
nemeth lands a big shot there that rocks Roberts but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
nemeth tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
nemeth has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
nemeth seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Roberts for as long as he can get away with.
Roberts is in a horrible position here. nemeth smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
nemeth is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Roberts has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Roberts!

and nemeth counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Roberts really doesn't want to stay on the ground with nemeth. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
nemeth is working Roberts over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. nemeth lands a nice short elbow.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
nemeth lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
nemeth throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
nemeth shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Roberts is trying to defend but nemeth finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
nemeth throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Roberts was covering up waiting for the punch and nemeth finishes the takedown easily into guard.

nemeth is in close to Roberts's body, working some short punches and elbows.

nemeth makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

nemeth shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Roberts pinned against the cage. Roberts gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Roberts might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control nemeth kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

nemeth has control of Roberts's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Roberts regains control of the situation pretty easily.
