Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yomamma Ayii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Burell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Burell comes into a darkened arena with his song building. When Worlds Collide--Powerman 5000 kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Yomamma Ayii has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ayii misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Ayii misses with an uppercut. Burell saw that one coming.
Burell with a poor takedown
and Ayii counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like Justin Burell has been cut.
Burell uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ayii.
A decent looking cross lands there for Ayii.
Burell closes the distance looking to clinch
and Ayii connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Ayii throws a right hand that misses
and Burell counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Ayii tries to bum rush Burell with a series of wild strikes but Burell uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Ayii throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ayii scores with a decent looking hook.

Burell shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Burell bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Yomamma Ayii is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and Burell counters with a nice body shot.
Nice straight punches there by Ayii. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Ayii.
That has opened up Justin Burell's cut even more.
Ayii rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Burell counters with a three punch combo that has Ayii backing up. Ayii nods at Burell to acknowledge the strikes.
Burell dives in and grabs Ayii's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ayii pushes down on Burell's head and hops out.
Yomamma Ayii has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Justin Burell.
Ayii moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Ayii ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Burell moves away.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ayii misses with a lunging right hand
and Burell counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Burell misses with a takedown
and Ayii counters with a left to the body.
Burell doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Ayii counters with a right hand to the body.
Burell looks gassed!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ayii looks to throw the jab but Burell is out of range.
Ayii closes the distance and clinches.
Burell is fighting off a takedown attempt but Ayii is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Burell to the mat. Burell regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Ayii wants to stand but Burell has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Ayii controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Burell looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Burell has his foot on Ayii's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ayii works his way back into a safe position though.

Ayii got a little sloppy there for a moment and Burell has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ayii has managed to get both his arms back between Burell's legs - danger averted.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Burell pushes a forearm under Ayii's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Ayii is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
