Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jesse Pajanen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Konrad Kurze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jesse Pajanen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Konrad Kurze! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Roosa Järviläinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pajanen throws a predictable looking body shot
and Kurze counters with a lovely straight right hand! Pajanen misses with a double jab
and Kurze connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Pajanen swings widly with a right hand
letting Kurze counter with a right hand. Kurze misses the jab. Pajanen scores with a shot to the body.
Pajanen staying out of range there. Pajanen misses the body punch and Kurze counters with a lovely straight right hand! Jesse Pajanen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kurze throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Kurze throws a body punch but Pajanen moves out of range. Kurze fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pajanen manages to avoid it. Pajanen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kurze moves away. Kurze tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Pajanen was well out of range. Poor timing from Kurze. Kurze misses with a straight right. Kurze misses with a body shot.

Kurze fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pajanen manages to avoid it. Pajanen swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kurze misses with a wild body shot. Pajanen is looking to wear down Kurze with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Pajanen misses with an uppercut
and Kurze counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Pajanen! Kurze moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Pajanen has worked his arm free - good work by Pajanen!
Kurze thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Kurze is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. That's two minutes gone in the round. Kurze tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Kurze is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Pajanen is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Kurze taking a break here but Pajanen is having none of it and regains half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pajanen is not content to let Kurze control the position. Kurze is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Pajanen is just riding it out for now. Kurze eventually gives up the hold. Kurze stalling away here and it's allowed Pajanen to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Pajanen keeping moving, preventing Kurze from controlling successfully. Kurze looking to pass the guard. Pajanen is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Kurze drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Pajanen manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Kurze has Pajanen in his guard. Pajanen will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Pajanen sitting in guard, not really doing much. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Konrad Kurze dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
A looping hook to the body misses from Kurze. Pajanen does a little dance to reset his feet. Pajanen missing with a left hand there. Kurze was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Kurze misses with an uppercut. A swing and a miss from Kurze. Kurze misses the shot to the body. Pajanen throws out a leg kick but Kurze moves out of range and Pajanen only half commits. Pajanen throws a jab when Kurze was well out of range. Pajanen scores with a three punch combo!
Kurze thows a body shot but no joy. Pajanen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kurze moves away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kurze throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Pajanen keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Kurze. Pajanen slips under a jab from Kurze. Kurze throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Kurze misses with a hook
and Pajanen counters with a series of strikes. Kurze will be more careful next time no doubt. Pajanen staying out of range there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kurze checks the leg kick nicely there.
Kurze throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kurze lands with an uppercut that bounces Pajanen off the cage and back into rage. Pajanen decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Kurze wants to control but Pajanen is keeping busy and won't allow it. Kurze is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Pajanen looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. The fighters are battling for position here. Kurze manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Pajanen is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Pajanen's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
We're going to have a standup here because Jesse Pajanen wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Pajanen misses with a low kick as Kurze jumps back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kurze scores with a jab to the body. Kurze throws a body punch but Pajanen moves out of range. An inside leg kick from Pajanen misses. Pajanen blocks a jab. Pajanen throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Kurze counters with a nice double leg into side control. Pajanen won't be happy with that. Pajanen can't do much from the bottom here. Kurze working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Kurze swings around for an armbar but Pajanen sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Kurze's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pajanen pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kurze is keeping the position for now. Kurze is trying to control the position but Pajanen postures up. Kurze escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Pajanen gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Pajanen got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kurze has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Pajanen has managed to get both his arms back between Kurze's legs - danger averted. Kurze working a defensive guard here.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Kurze. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Kurze might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Pajanen kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Kurze working for submissions but it's allowed Pajanen to get to half guard.
Kurze is breathing heavily. Pajanen stalling.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kurze tries to get to full guard but Pajanen has control of the leg. Kurze is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Pajanen with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Jesse Pajanen wasn't doing enough on the ground. Jab, jab by Pajanen - just one landing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Jesse Pajanen will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

and Kurze counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Pajanen blocks a jab. Pajanen misses with a wild body shot. A looping hook to the body misses from Kurze. Pajanen does a little dance to reset his feet. Kurze closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Pajanen did well to prevent Kurze getting side control. Kurze is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Pajanen has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kurze is working away from the top position though.

He's simply no match for Kurze on the ground. You can see the frustration on Pajanen's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Kurze looking to hit a scissor sweep but Pajanen is one step ahead there. Kurze is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Pajanen defends well. Pajanen sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kurze keeping full guard, as Pajanen tries to pass. Pajanen wants to control from the top but Kurze keeps moving. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Pajanen has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Kurze misses with a shot to the body and Pajanen counters by clinching up. Pajanen is trying to break free. Pajanen breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Kurze ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Pajanen connects with a looping right hand.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Pajanen throws a sloppy body shot
enabling Kurze to counter with a crisp jab. Kurze throws a shot from downtown. Pajanen moves away and avoids it. Pajanen blocks a jab. Pajanen misses with a straight left. Pajanen does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Pajanen misses with an uppercut. Kurze saw that one coming. Kurze blocks a jab. Kurze lands a nice hook to Pajanen's body. Pajanen takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Pajanen shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Pajanen showed some decent athleticism there. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Kurze trying to control from the bottom.
Kurze wants to get back to full guard. Pajanen uses his free foot to push down on Kurze's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Kurze. Konrad Kurze has got the better of the ground game so far. Pajanen is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Kurze has managed to escape the submission attempt.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Konrad Kurze. I think Kurze has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
