Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sasa Gusi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Sinatra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gusi's entrance music is Ekipa- BGD Syndicate. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sasa Gusi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 5 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frank Sinatra! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gusi uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Sinatra. Sinatra throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Sinatra gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Gusi pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Sinatra is keeping the position for now. Sinatra is trying to control the position but Gusi postures up. Gusi throwing strikes but missing. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Gusi's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Sinatra preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Gusi wants to control from the top but Sinatra keeps moving. Sinatra is trying to keep Gusi in close.
Sinatra is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gusi postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gusi loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Sinatra had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Gusi defends it easily. Gusi has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Gusi wants to control from the top but Sinatra keeps moving. Sinatra working a defensive guard here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Sinatra controls Gusi momentarily but Gusi frees himself. Gusi tries to free his leg and advance position but Sinatra is retaining full guard. Sinatra is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Sinatra is trying to control the action in half guard but Gusi is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. That's three minutes gone in the round. Sinatra passes easily into side control. Nice work. Sinatra throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Gusi is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Sinatra off and has taken his back! Even with his hooks in, Gusi manages to miss with strikes from the back. Gusi is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Sinatra has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Sinatra avoids the strikes from Gusi. Gusi is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Gusi gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Gusi gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Gusi apologises and we restart here on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sinatra missing with a left hand there. Gusi was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Gusi fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Sinatra avoids it really well and circles away. Sinatra shoots in looking for a takedown. Gusi tries to sprawl out of it but Sinatra keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gusi manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Gusi fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sasa Gusi dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Sinatra misses with a left hand and Gusi counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Sinatra! Gusi misses with a head shot. Sinatra tries to lock up and control but Gusi gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Gusi throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Gusi looking to finish Sinatra with some ground and pound. This is bad for Sinatra! Gusi lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Sinatra hang on? Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Gusi landing strikes, looking to finish! Sinatra is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Gusi prevents Sinatra from getting the reversal. Gusi unloads with some shots from mount but Sinatra bucks and avoids them well.

Gusi thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Sasa Gusi overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. The fighters are battling for position here. Sinatra manages to regain full guard. Nice work. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gusi accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Gusi trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Sinatra is adopting a defensive guard. Sinatra keeping moving, preventing Gusi from controlling successfully. Sinatra escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gusi gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Gusi throwing strikes from guard but Sinatra blocks nicely. Gusi scoring with punches to the head and body. Sinatra wants to sweep but no luck. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Gusi throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Sinatra works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Sinatra trying to keep a closed guard but Gusi is proving a slippery customer.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Sinatra wants to sweep here but Gusi controlling him for the moment. Gusi postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Sinatra is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Gusi, into his guard. Gusi trying to keep a closed guard but Sinatra is proving a slippery customer.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Sasa Gusi just wasn't active enough. Sinatra slaps away a takedown attempt from Gusi, before circling back to the center of the mat. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sasa Gusi dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Gusi wants to clinch up but Sinatra keeps it at a distance. Sinatra has a takedown stuffed. Gusi shoots for a takedown but Sinatra saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Sinatra swings for the body but Gusi moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gusi looking to score a takedown here. Sinatra is defending well but Gusi drives through and ends up in Sinatra's guard. Sinatra utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Gusi trying to control the position from guard on top but Sinatra is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Gusi darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sinatra keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Sinatra has hold of Gusi's hands but Gusi slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Sinatra trying to control here.

Gusi lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Gusi throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Sinatra wants to get back to full guard.

Gusi is looking to take a break and control but Sinatra is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Gusi wants to free his trapped foot but Sinatra is holding on for dear life with his legs. Gusi is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Gusi is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Sinatra has managed to free his arm - good work. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sinatra is not content to let Gusi control the position.
And that's the end of the fight! Sasa Gusi showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Gusi, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
