Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kehno Onhek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Lewis's choice of entrance music: Justin Moore - I Could Kick Your Ass. Mark Lewis has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kehno Onhek!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Lewis!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Onhek looks to land a left hand but Lewis moved out of range nicely.

Mark Lewis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lewis throws a leg kick but Onhek moved away.
Onhek fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lewis avoids it really well and circles away.

Lewis throws an overhand right that lands on Onhek's shoulder, as Onhek tries to avoid the shot.

Onhek closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Lewis's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Onhek postures up in Lewis's guard and throws a big left but Lewis blocks it.

Lewis is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Lewis throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Onhek tries to hold on but Lewis pushes him away.
Onhek is looking to improve his position but Lewis isn't that keen on the idea.
Onhek wants to control but Lewis is having none of it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Lewis wants to control the pace but Onhek is squirming around nicely.

Onhek tries to lock up and control but Lewis gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The referee warns Onhek that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Onhek is in all sorts of trouble here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Mark Lewis will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Lewis fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Onhek has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Onhek shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lewis sprawls well. Lewis wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Onhek gets slowly back to his feet.
Lewis loads up on a big right hand but Onhek slips the punch.
Onhek needs to keep his hands up - Lewis had a free shot at his head there.
Lewis is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Onhek.
Lewis fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Onhek is out of range.
Nice takedown defense from Lewis. No joy for Onhek on that attempt.

The fighters circling - Lewis throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Lewis lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Onhek at a distance.
Lewis wants to slow Onhek down by chopping away at his legs.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Onhek checks a leg kick.
Onhek slips under a jab from Lewis.
Onhek on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Onhek shoots in looking for a takedown. Lewis tries to sprawl out of it but Onhek keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lewis manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kehno Onhek. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Lewis throws a low kick but Onhek moves out of range easily.

Lewis fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Onhek on the side of the head.

A decent looking cross lands there for Lewis.
Lewis lands a nice shot that snaps Onhek's head back.
Lewis connects with a body shot that sends Onhek's belly button to the back.

Onhek fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Lewis to the ground. Onhek is now in Lewis's guard.
Lewis has momentary wrist control but Onhek slips an elbow through the middle.
Onhek landing some decent shots from guard.
Onhek lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Lewis keeping moving, preventing Onhek from controlling successfully.
Onhek is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Onhek tries to buck Lewis off but he can't manage it.

Kehno Onhek overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Onhek's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Lewis thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Lewis tries to control but Onhek wriggling away.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Lewis unloads with some shots from mount but Onhek bucks and avoids them well.
Onhek is looking to get to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mark Lewis showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!


A punch lands to the side of Onhek 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Lewis throws a low kick but it's checked well by Onhek.
Lewis misses with a straight right.

Onhek feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Onhek tries to free his leg and advance position but Lewis is retaining full guard.
Lewis will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Lewis is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Lewis manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Onhek manages to get himself to full guard.

Onhek has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Lewis is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Onhek.

Lewis wants to control but Onhek is keeping him busy.
Onhek dodges the ground and pound from Lewis.

Lewis is looking to control Onhek but Onhek is wriggling around and keeping busy.

Onhek turns into Lewis and is now in his guard.
Onhek is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Lewis looking to hit a scissor sweep but Onhek is one step ahead there.

Lewis manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Onhek manages to get himself to full guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Lewis postures up in Onhek's guard and throws a big left but Onhek blocks it.
Onhek is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Onhek is trying to control the position but Lewis postures up.
Onhek has control of Lewis's left arm, preventing Lewis from doing any damage.
Lewis won't allow Onhek to get back to his feet.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Kehno Onhek just wasn't active enough.
Onhek tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lewis was well out of range. Poor timing from Onhek.
Onhek closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lewis circles away.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Lewis throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Onhek chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Lewis can pounce on him.
Onhek stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Lewis.

Onhek shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Onhek was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Mark Lewis is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Lewis tries to lock up and control but Onhek gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Kehno Onhek has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Lewis tries to reverse the position but Onhek maintains control.
Onhek has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Lewis's face.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lewis is looking to improve his position but Onhek isn't that keen on the idea.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

I would just about give that final round to Mark Lewis.
I've got Lewis winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
