Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zagnut Dunbar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diogo Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Zagnut Dunbar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Diogo Souza!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paul Aken and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Souza shoots in for a takedown but Dunbar shows good takedown defense.
Dunbar misses with a wild combination.
Dunbar throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Dunbar missing with a left hand there. Souza was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dunbar throws a hook but Souza avoids it easily.
Dunbar is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Souza.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dunbar misses with a wild body shot.
Dunbar looks to land a combination but Souza avoids it well.
Dunbar's jab looks to have found its range, popping Souza under the eye.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Souza.
Dunbar throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Souza stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Souza moves away from the strike by Dunbar.
Dunbar throws a jab but it's blocked by Souza.
Souza staying out of range there.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Dunbar misses the jab.
A left lands for Dunbar.
Some wild striking there from Dunbar.
Dunbar lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A big left from Dunbar misses.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Dunbar scores with a hook to the body. Souza takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nice shot lands for Dunbar.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Souza looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dunbar is fending him off so far but Souza persists. Nope, Dunbar circles away and we're back to standing.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Zagnut Dunbar dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Dunbar lands an overhand right.
Dunbar misses the shot to the body.
Diogo Souza is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Dunbar stuffs the takedown attempt from Souza. Souza gets slowly back to his feet.
Zagnut Dunbar is winning the standup battle so far.
Dunbar throws a hook to the side of Souza's head but Souza sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dunbar fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Souza is breathing heavily.
Dunbar jabs Souza to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Dunbar scores with a hook.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Souza might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Dunbar has got the better of the exchanges.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Dunbar throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Souza's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Dunbar dives in looking to finish as Souza flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Dunbar's strikes! Dunbar is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Souza's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Souza was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Zagnut Dunbar!
