Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sheldon Cooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Curtis Lemansky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sheldon Cooper! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Curtis Lemansky! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cooper scores with a push kick. Cooper shoots in for a double leg but Lemansky sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Lemansky is looking to clinch. Sheldon Cooper seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Lemansky enables Cooper to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Lemansky manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Cooper won't allow Lemansky to get back to his feet. Cooper missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Cooper tries to free his leg and advance position but Lemansky is retaining full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Cooper thows a big elbow that misses.
Cooper drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Lemansky dives on top into guard.

Lemansky stands up and waves to Cooper to follow him. Lemansky tries to clinch up but Cooper circles away and keeps his distance.  That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Lemansky avoids a wild elbow strike from Cooper. Lemansky throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Cooper is defending well for now. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Cooper tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Lemansky smiles and moves away.

Cooper shoots in for a takedown but Lemansky shows good takedown defense. Cooper looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Cooper cracks Lemansky with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Cooper fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lemansky avoids it really well and circles away. Lemansky tries to close the distance and clinch but Cooper swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Cooper tries to clinch but Lemansky moves away
and Lemansky counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Lemansky. Lemansky using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Cooper has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Cooper pulls guard. Lemansky won't allow Cooper to sweep him here. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.

Cooper closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Cooper stands up and beckons Lemansky to his feet. Lemansky tries to clinch but Cooper moves out of range. Cooper fails with the takedown. Cooper really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Lemansky tries to clinch up and Cooper counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Cooper swats away the attempt to clinch by Lemansky. Lemansky wants to clinch. Lemansky blocks a head kick by Cooper.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Cooper wants to get back to striking at distance but Lemansky won't allow it.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Cooper shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Lemansky holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Cooper goes for a takedown in the clinch but Lemansky prevents it.

Sheldon Cooper dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Cooper shoots for a double leg takedown but Lemansky sprawls well. He's pushed Cooper's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Cooper will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Lemansky is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Cooper postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Cooper prevents Lemansky from getting back to his feet. Cooper lands a couple of decent looking shots. Cooper advances position into side control!
Cooper has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Cooper pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Cooper is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Cooper drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lemansky is trying to get back to his feet. Lemansky managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Cooper.
Curtis Lemansky has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Sheldon Cooper is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Lemansky throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
And that's the end of the fight! Sheldon Cooper showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Cooper, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
