Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dan Burnett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Holden McNeil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Dan Burnett has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Dan Burnett seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McNeil throws the left hand but Burnett avoids the punch easily.
McNeil misses with a few strikes there.
McNeil tries to close the distance and clinch up but Burnett swats him away and circles back towards the center.
McNeil displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Burnett.
Burnett closes the distance and clinches up with McNeil, looking for a takedown. Burnett pushes McNeil against the cage but McNeil circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Burnett keeps the fight on the outside.
McNeil fails with the takedown
and Burnett counters with a series of strikes. McNeil will be more careful next time no doubt.
Holden McNeil seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Burnett fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dan Burnett. That's going to take a lot out of him.
McNeil lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by McNeil.
McNeil tries to clinch up
and Burnett counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Burnett.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
McNeil prevents the takedown attempt.

Burnett is trying to work for a single leg takedown but McNeil pulls him back up using the underhooks.
McNeil wants to stall.
McNeil is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
A knee to the head by Burnett.
McNeil wants to break free but Burnett has control.
McNeil avoids the elbow strike from Burnett, against the cage.
McNeil is trying to force a seperation but Burnett has the dominant position.
Burnett lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
It looks like Holden McNeil has been cut.
Burnett scores with a knee to the head.
McNeil has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Burnett jumps guard and drags McNeil to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
McNeil looking to sit in guard and control but Burnett gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Burnett is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Burnett passes easily into side control. Nice work.

McNeil is looking to reverse the position.
Burnett sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but McNeil is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Burnett is working to tighten is grip on McNeil's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. McNeil has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Burnett is really squeezing tight and eventually McNeil passes out! Burnett breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
