The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Armstrong looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Armstrong wants to clinch up but SPARRING keeps it at a distance.
Armstrong misses with a two punch combination.
Armstrong tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. SPARRING manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
SPARRING shoots for a takedown but Armstrong saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Armstrong moves in looking to clinch but SPARRING pushes him off.

Armstrong tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. SPARRING manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

SPARRING shoots in and gets a takedown into Armstrong's guard.
SPARRING stops Armstrong from standing up.

SPARRING drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and SPARRING jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

SPARRING thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

SPARRING drops back looking for a leg! Armstrong is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Armstrong manages to kick SPARRING off! SPARRING jumps back into Armstrong's guard.

SPARRING drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. SPARRING seems to have locked his on tight now - Armstrong screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for SPARRING, as he picks up the win!
