These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goldberg misses with an uppercut.

Bill Goldberg seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Berbick bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Goldberg's head backwards.

and Berbick counters with a big uppercut that knocks Goldberg off his feet! Berbick dives into side control looking to finish!

Berbick has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Goldberg is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Berbick yanks on the arm and Goldberg is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Berbick.
