Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Estevan Ledesma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donny Brooke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ledesma might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Mark Ronson ft Q-Tip - Bang Bang. Estevan Ledesma could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Donny Brooke's chin.

The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Lou da Vinci and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ledesma swings for the body but Brooke moves out of range.
Brooke throws a lazy uppercut
and Ledesma counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Brooke uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Ledesma.
Brooke misses with an uppercut
and Ledesma counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Brooke scores with a crisp jab that stopped Ledesma in his tracks.
Ledesma comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

and Ledesma holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Ledesma lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Brooke is trying to force a seperation but Ledesma has the dominant position.

Ledesma wants to control from the top but Brooke keeps moving.

Ledesma stands and throws Brooke's legs to the side, diving into side control.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Ledesma takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Ledesma seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Brooke for as long as he can get away with.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Estevan Ledesma has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Ledesma tries to clinch up but Brooke circles away and keeps his distance.

It looks like Donny Brooke has been cut.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Brooke tries to get back to half guard but can't.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Estevan Ledesma dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Donny Brooke's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Brooke misses with a hook to the body
and Ledesma counters with a straight right hand.
Ledesma clinches.
Brooke tries to circle away but Ledesma has him pinned against the cage.
Nice body punch from Ledesma.
Ledesma lands an elbow that stopped Brooke in his tracks for a moment.
Brooke takes an elbow to the temple.
Ledesma lands a body shot in the clinch.
Ledesma turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Ledesma manages to end up in side control.
Brooke is letting Ledesma control him for a moment.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Estevan Ledesma.
Ledesma throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Brooke throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Brooke rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Ledesma counters with a nice uppercut.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Ledesma is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Ledesma has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Ledesma there as he acknowledges the shot.
Brooke thuds his right hand into Ledesma's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Brooke swings widly with a right hand
and Ledesma counters with a series of strikes. Brooke will be more careful next time no doubt.
Ledesma is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Brooke can do to turn this around?
Ledesma pushes Brooke up against the cage in a clinch.
Ledesma is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Brooke gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
