Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Orson Willows (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Longs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Orson Willows has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Orson Willows! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Chris Longs! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Eliza Hachem and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Longs fails to land with a series of punches.
Longs displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Willows. Longs tries a head kick but it misses.
Longs throws a combination. Willows tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Chris Longs seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Willows has a takedown stuffed. Longs throws a right hand that Willows ducks under and follows up with a left that Willows also avoids with ease. Willows fails in his attempt to clinch. Some wild striking there from Longs.
Sloppy strikes from Longs. Those never looked like landing. Willows dives in and grabs Longs's left leg, looking for a takedown. Longs pushes down on Willows's head and hops out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Orson Willows. That's going to take a lot out of him. Longs swats away the attempt to clinch by Willows. Willows tries to clinch there but Longs circles away.
A jab from Longs misses. Longs drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Longs is staying tight to Willows's torso, preventing him from escaping.
That's one minute gone in the round. I looks like Longs might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Longs decides to stand back up. Willows shoots in but doesn't get the takedown enabling Longs to counter with a crisp jab. Longs tries a low kick but Willows avoids it. Willows fails with the takedown and Longs counters with a left and a right that stings Willows. Willows is breathing heavily. Longs throws a series of punches but Willows avoids them all with ease. Willows tries for a takedown but Longs circles away easily and Longs counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Willows's guard now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Willows looking for a guillotine here but Longs defends easily.
Willows is working an open guard so Longs takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Longs lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Willows has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Willows and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Longs swings away with a leg kick that misses. Longs throws a good cross that connects.

No joy there for Longs, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Longs looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Longs is pressing down on Willows's thigh, looking to free his foot. Willows is holding on for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Longs is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Nice strikes from Longs there. Willows on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Longs is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Longs keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Longs gets to his feet - back to striking we go!

Longs fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Willows manages to avoid it. Longs throws a chopping leg kick but Willows manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Longs has closed the distance and engaged Willows in a clinch.
Longs stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Willows tries to pull guard but Longs won't allow it.
Longs throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Longs works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Longs tries to circle away but Willows has him pinned against the cage. Longs pulls guard successfully.
Longs is pulling down on Willows's head to control his posture. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chris Longs dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Longs throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Willows. Willows shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Longs counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Orson Willows is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Longs lands a two punch combo.
Longs goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
It looks like Orson Willows has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Longs lands with a right hand. Willows tries to keep at a distance but Longs has taken the fight into the clinch. Longs presses Willows against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Longs jumps guard and drags Willows to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Longs wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Longs pushes Willows off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Longs throws out a leg kick but Willows moves out of range and Longs only half commits. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Longs lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Longs has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Longs scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Longs shoots in for a takedown and gets it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Longs controlling the pace. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Longs decides to stand and escape the position.

Longs changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Willows looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Longs decides to stand up, so the ref orders Willows to his feet. Chris Longs seems to be getting the better of the standup. Longs clinches up with Willows and pushes him back against the cage. Longs lands a body shot in the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Longs's face as he tries to break the clinch. Longs dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Longs works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Longs wants to stand but Willows has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Longs content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Willows keeping full guard, as Longs tries to pass. Longs looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Longs gets to his feet. Willows looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! No joy there for Longs, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Longs will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Longs lands with a good body shot. Longs rushes Willows and presses him up against the cage. Willows prevents Longs from breaking the clinch. Longs tries to score a body lock takedown but Willows shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Longs tries to circle away but Willows has him pinned against the cage. A hook to the body from Longs.
Longs is trying to break the clinch but Willows has him pressed against the cage. Longs pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Willows. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Willows dodges the punch combination from Longs.
Longs bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Willows prevents Longs from improving position. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Longs working the ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chris Longs showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Orson Willows's cut. That's time! Willows's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Willows shoots in but doesn't get the takedown so Longs counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Longs pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Willows is keeping the position for now. Longs is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Longs wants to get up but he can't break Willows's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Longs stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Willows swivels though and keeps the full guard. Longs slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Chris Longs hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Willows with a poor takedown and Longs connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Willows shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Longs counters with a three punch combo that has Willows backing up. Willows nods at Longs to acknowledge the strikes. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Orson Willows. That's going to take a lot out of him. Longs bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Willows tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Willows is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Longs.
Longs is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Willows. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped. Longs patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here?

Let's hope that Longs has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Longs connects with a big shot to the side of Willows's head.

Willows is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Oooh a big shot gets through from Longs. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Longs controls the position. Longs really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Willows. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Longs has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Longs just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Longs's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Longs scores with punches from the back.
Can Willows hold on?! Longs is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.

Orson Willows has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Chris Longs is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that's the end of the fight! Chris Longs comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Longs has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
