Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nicolas Belfort (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and arht Toro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Toro has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. arht Toro will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nicolas Belfort! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, arht Toro! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Belfort rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Toro moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Toro tries to clinch up. Toro tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Belfort manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Toro shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Belfort defends it nicely. Toro tries to clinch up. Toro shoots in for a takedown but Belfort shows good takedown defense. Toro waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Belfort. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Belfort rushes Toro and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. A short left from Belfort. Toro has had enough of the clinch but Belfort keeps him there for the moment. Toro can't get the takedown.
Nicolas Belfort has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of arht Toro.

Toro is working for takedown but Belfort is calmly controlling the position for now. Toro looks gassed! Toro tries to break the clinch but Belfort is controlling the position. Belfort breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Belfort drives through with a takedown into guard. Toro being controlled here, momentarily. Toro looking to hit a scissor sweep but Belfort is one step ahead there. Belfort passes into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Belfort is controlling the pace.
Toro wants to sweep but Belfort has passed to side control!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Belfort decides to take the fight back to the feet. Toro fails with the takedown and Belfort counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Belfort decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Belfort shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Toro's guard. Belfort stands up and waves to Toro to follow him. Belfort throws a right hand that Toro ducks under and follows up with a left that Toro also avoids with ease.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Belfort moves into the clinch. Belfort's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Belfort could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Belfort shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Toro is trying desperately to improve position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Belfort tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nicolas Belfort dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Belfort closes the distance and lands a one-two. A low kick from Toro is predictable there and Belfort counters with a right hand to the body. Belfort shoots in and bounces Toro off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Belfort showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Toro is trying to control the position but Belfort postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Toro can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Belfort controls the pace. Toro has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Belfort has passed into side control.
Belfort wants to control but Toro is keeping him busy. Toro is trying to work for a sweep but Belfort has mounted him!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Belfort controlling the position easily from mount. Toro can't escape the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Toro tries to lock up and control but Belfort gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Belfort controlling from mount. Belfort's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Nicolas Belfort. Belfort lands a jab-cross combination. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nicolas Belfort dominated that second round. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Belfort throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Belfort lands with a nice combination. Toro backs away looking to recover. Toro doesn't succeed with the takedown and Belfort counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Belfort is figuring out what he wants to do next. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Belfort is thwarting Toro's attempts to control the position. Belfort looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Nicolas Belfort wasn't doing enough on the ground. Toro with a poor takedown and Belfort counters with a left and a right that stings Toro. Belfort shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Belfort sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Belfort blocks Toro's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Toro wants to hold on but Belfort pushes him away. Belfort takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Belfort lands a nice shot to the head. Belfort controlling his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Belfort has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Nicolas Belfort overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Belfort in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Belfort pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Belfort controlling from mount. arht Toro has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Nicolas Belfort is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
And that's the end of the fight! Nicolas Belfort showed his dominance in that final round. Well Belfort has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
