Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and juan sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Paul Lee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, juan sanchez! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Sam Margolis and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! sanchez tries for a takedown but Lee circles away easily and Lee counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. sanchez misses with a takedown and Lee counters with a stiff right hand. sanchez with a poor takedown and Lee counters with a lovely straight right hand! Paul Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of juan sanchez. sanchez shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Lee counters with a nice uppercut. sanchez doesn't succeed with the takedown and Lee connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. sanchez is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Lee's half guard. sanchez wants to work for an arm triangle but Lee is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
sanchez seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lee does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Lee is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Lee is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because sanchez is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. sanchez takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Lee is staying active underneath sanchez, who seems content to just control the action from this position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lee is looking to improve his position.
The fighters are battling for position here. Lee manages to regain full guard. Nice work. sanchez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lee swivels though and keeps the full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. sanchez stopping the sweep attempt from Lee.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Lee working for submissions but it's allowed sanchez to get to half guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. sanchez is pressing down on Lee's thigh, looking to free his foot. Lee is holding on for now. sanchez is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. sanchez is working for a kimura but Lee is defending it quite comfortably.

A close round but juan sanchez will probably get the nod. That's time! Lee's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
sanchez misses with a takedown attempt and Lee cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. sanchez has his takedown stuffed and Lee counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. sanchez misses with a takedown attempt and Lee connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Lee drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. sanchez is looking for a triangle here but Lee uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Lee misses with the ground and pound. Lee lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Lee tries to advance to mount but sanchez denies him. Lee is chipping away with strikes.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Lee pushes down on sanchez's leg and manages to get into half guard. Lee is pressing down on sanchez's thigh, looking to free his foot. sanchez is holding on for now. sanchez trying to control but Lee postures up.
Lee landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. sanchez is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Lee pulls his head out easily. Lee trying to mount his opponent but sanchez defends it. sanchez is trying to control but can't.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee passes to side control. sanchez parries the strikes from Lee easily there. Lee is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable sanchez to escape.
Lee advances to mount. sanchez is looking to get to half guard. Lee throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
sanchez sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Lee seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lee is looking to pass sanchez's guard but actually sanchez recovers to full guard. sanchez is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Lee postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. sanchez is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Lee is aware though and is defending well. That has opened up juan sanchez's cut even more. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! sanchez is desperately trying to improve his position but Lee has a good base and remains in mount. Lee with the ground and pound from mount. Lee has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of sanchez's face.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at juan sanchez's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
