Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between randy orton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ariel Junior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, randy orton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ariel Junior! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Colin Fotheringham and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Junior looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. orton shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Junior defends it nicely. orton misses with a takedown and Junior counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for orton! Junior won't let orton get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Junior trying to control but he's not successful this time. Junior sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! orton knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Junior on the ground. orton is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

That's one minute gone in the round. orton is trying to stand up. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Junior cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Junior thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Junior trying to control but orton is having none of it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. orton is breathing heavily. Junior throws some wild stikes that orton manages to avoid easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Junior pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.
Junior looking to control but orton is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Junior wants to finish this one by submission but orton is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Junior. Junior has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. A nice elbow there by Junior.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Junior sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Junior stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ariel Junior dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Junior moves into the clinch. orton turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! orton stands up and we're back to a striking position. orton closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Junior to the mat! Junior manages to get full guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Junior is on top in guard.
Junior trying to control but orton is working from the bottom. Junior stands and steps away. orton gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Junior is defended easily by orton.
That's one minute gone in the round. Junior shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Junior showed some decent athleticism there. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Junior trying to control the action but orton is working from the bottom. Junior wants to pass to mount but orton is defending the position. orton is not content to let Junior control the position.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Junior is figuring out what he wants to do next.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Ariel Junior hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. orton with a poor takedown and Junior holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Junior goes for a takedown attempt but orton pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. orton stands up out of the half guard. orton shoots and misses and Junior holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for randy orton. That's going to take a lot out of him. Junior drops down looking for an ankle pick but orton pulls his leg out and moves away.
Junior is looking to clinch. orton shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Junior napping and manages to drive through into side control! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Junior is looking to reverse the position. orton will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
randy orton dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
orton feints and as Junior raises his hands in defense, orton changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Junior is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Junior has a closed guard, preventing orton from standing up. Junior pulls orton in close to prevent any damage. randy orton overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Junior is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Ariel Junior has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. A combination from Junior does no damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. orton darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Junior is looking for a sweep. orton is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. orton decides to stand and escape the position. Junior swinging wildly here.
Junior throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
orton leaves Junior with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. orton has a takedown stuffed.
That's two minutes gone in the round. orton shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Junior but Junior pushes him off and we're back to square one. Junior closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Junior passes to side control. Junior tries for a kimura but orton is defending well. Junior thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's three minutes gone in the round. orton dodges the ground and pound from Junior. Junior is staying tight to orton's torso, preventing him from escaping. Junior decides to stand up, so the ref orders orton to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. orton with a poor takedown and Junior counters with a shoot takedown. orton fights it but they end up in guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for randy orton. That's going to take a lot out of him. Junior drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and orton dives on top into guard. orton decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Junior, up you get! orton misses with a takedown attempt and Junior moves into the clinch. Junior drags the fight down to the ground.
orton wants to stand but Junior is controlling his posture from full guard. orton has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. orton stands up and waves to Junior to follow him.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Ariel Junior. Well Junior has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
