Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Benny Phillips (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sylvester Fredriksson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fredriksson has chosen Rambo theme as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Phillips misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Fredriksson connects with an inside leg kick.
Fredriksson delivers a nice body kick.
Phillips lands with an overhand left.
Fredriksson turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Benny Phillips seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Phillips tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Fredriksson was well out of range. Poor timing from Phillips.

Fredriksson has the Thai plumb, controlling the head nicely. He loads up with a big knee to the head and Phillips goes down! Fredriksson pounces into side control - this one could be over soon!

Fredriksson tries to advance to mount but Phillips denies him.

Fredriksson has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Phillips seems to have got his legs back now.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Fredriksson throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Phillips crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
